Weekly Mowing
Weekly mowing seems simple enough, but each time you cut your grass you’re paving the way for your lawn’s success or failure. Mow correctly, and you’ll groom turf that’s healthy, drought-tolerant and thick enough to crowd out weeds. Mow incorrectly, and your lawn will struggle to survive. Time mowings so you’re never removing more than one-third of the total leaf surface (of a single grass blade) with each cutting.
Fertilization and weed control
The best time to fertilize your lawn is in the spring, when the soil temperature reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit. You’ll know when the soil warms up to 55 because the lilacs begin to blossom and the grass starts growing. For most parts of the country, that means the first feeding should take place by about mid-April. So if you haven’t started, now’s the time.
Sprinkler Mainentance
There’s a secret behind achieving a beautiful, lush lawn. In sprinkler or overhead irrigation, water is piped to one or more central locations within the field and distributed by overhead high-pressure sprinklers or guns. A system utilizing sprinklers, sprays, or guns mounted overhead on permanently installed risers is often referred to as a solid-set irrigation system.
Fall/Spring Clean Up
Throughout the year, the various seasons impact your lawn and landscaping drastically. Therefore, it is important to both clean up the effects following the last season and prepare for the new one. This is especially true in the Spring and in the Fall and occur at both the beginning and end of the season.
Tree and Shrub Pruning
Tree and shrub pruning is an essential gardening skill. When you prune trees & shrubs correctly, you encourage healthy growth and flowering (in the case of flowering plants), as well as good looks. For most shrubs and trees, it helps to prune at the right time. Some are best pruned in winter; some right after flowering.
About Us
ProMow Lawn Care is a family owned and operated business, which allows us to provide a more personal, more quality assured relationship with each and every Client.
We are not just your average lawn care company! It’s more than just a mow, trim, edge & blow for us. We understand the frustrations that you may deal with when working with an average lawn care company. That is why we focus on, not only doing top quality work every time, but also on the little things. For example; being punctual, being kind and friendly, latching your gate when we leave, answering the phone, offering multiple forms of payment, admitting to AND fixing our mistakes, being licensed and insured, etc. These are some of many things we do to build our name as a lawn care company. We want to promote an honest name by doing honest work.
